PAYMENT METHODS
Opodo offers the best and most affordable prices for its high quality services. Some of its methods of payment are with Credit cards, American Express, Visa Card, Master Card, Delta, Visa Electron, Maestro, Master card Debit, and Visa Debit. It is important to note that Direct debit, e-payment, cash, electronic cash and Paypal are not acceptable and also that a fee of 2% plus £1 will be charged for credit card payments. It is pertinent to note also that Solo or Visa Electron debit cards are not accepted. American Express payments cost 2.5% plus £1 and Debit cards are usually free of charge.
Full payments are usually taken at the time of booking or 'pay later' where you pay for your stay upon check out which means that all of the hotels offered are either 'pre-pay'. A card number will always be requested to charge the amount of the reservation or simply as a guarantee. You will be able to see their different rates and conditions after your hotel search and selections such as the Cancellation and modification policies, the Room and bed size, the Cost of breakfast, if it was not included, and Not included charges such as local taxes.

CANCELLATION
If in an unfortunate case you are unable to travel, as your booking consists of two different reservations, one for the flight and another for your hotel, both bookings will have to be cancelled.
For the cancellation of your hotel booking, by virtue of the type of room you have booked, you may be able to cancel your hotel at no cost. All hotel bookings can be cancelled, however, not all of them can be refunded. In some cases, you may be charged by the hotel for a penalty for the cancellation, which can vary from the price of one night up to the full amount of your stay. It is however recommended in all cases to cancel your booking prior to your arrival date. It is important to note that the local time at the hotel is the time zone that should be used to clarify the time limit you have to make any change to your booking
For the cancellation of your flight ticket, it is recommended that you contact them as soon as possible If you are not taking your flight, in order to check the fare rules applicable to your booking.
It is pertinent to note that some fares, due to its restrictions, may not be possible to be refunded on your unused tickets, or a penalty may be applied by the carrier. Opodo will charge £25 per ticket for handling your voluntary cancellation and can only cancel tickets with regular airlines. If in any case you are travelling with a Low Cost carrier, please contact the airline directly to request for your cancellation.
REFUNDS
In a case where by you are unable to take your flight and the ticket is non refundable, you may decide to claim some or all taxes charged at the time of purchase. By virtue of the registration and licensing arrangements and Opodo is fully compliant with financial protection requirements that has been made with relevant authorities.
Most of the services booked in the UK are financially protected by the ATOL and IATA schemes that can provide you with financial protection. should in case Opodo goes out of business. This protection however does not apply to all provided services. Also, it confirms the protection that applies to your bookings into your booking confirmation e-mail.
If applicable, refunds will be processed to the form of payment used at the time of booking. It will be made payable to the original person who made the original payment. It is important to note that not all taxes are refundable when processing a refund for a flight payment.
